History of High Tech Services

High Tech Services HTS was started in 1984. Years ago we wanted to do everything (controls, mechanical, electrical). We soon realized that when you try to be everything -- you wind up not being good at anything. So we went back to what we're great at -- project management, engineering, and programming. We now have strategic alliances with partners that specialize in mechanical and machine design, panel building, and electrical work.  We have also worked with many heavy industrial contractors.  

HTS had a sister company, Cimple Products, that developed products for automation. Cimple Products developed over one hundred products in about ten years.  Ultimately, Cimple Products was merged in HTS to consolidate duplicate activities.  

Keith Baldwin is the owner and president of HTS. Keith's background includes working during high school as a technician in several high tech custom engineering companies, a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida and a Master's degree in Integrated Manufacturing Systems Engineering from North Carolina State University. Keith is a founding member and previous director of the Control Systems Integrator Association (CSIA).
