Leverage

Think about it: most products require that you change your process to fit the capabilities of the product!  However, most of our projects involve customization so that we adapt technology to your process. We reduce the cost and development time of a custom system by using off the shelf components.  For example, we typically generate reports using a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and store configuration data in a Microsoft Access or SQL Server database.  These standard tools also reduce development, debugging, startup, documentation, and training times.  There are many ways we can further decrease development time by using knowledge from a similar project that we or our vendor has already completed.  

This decreases our risk and increases our reward. This gives you a custom system that you can have for only a marginal increase in price.
