The basic inventory management system answers the simple questions of “how much?” and “where is it?" This system is designed to be simple to install, setup, operate, and maintain. Perfect for simple inventory operations.
The software runs on a single computer and uses a single Microsoft’s Access Database (part of Microsoft Office Professional). This product will run most simple inventory applications out of the box and can be set-up and running within hours. Installing the software takes minutes but entering the part numbers, starting quantities, and locations can take hours, depending on the number of items and storage locations you need to enter. It does include .NET source code for users wanting to make custom changes.
You can purchase just the software, supply your own computer, and enter all your own data. Or purchase a complete system with computer, software already installed, and all data entered. You can do it all, have us do some, or have us do it all.
The computer requirements are minimal. If you want your computer to last longer, we recommend a new computer with a high quality UPS with noise filtering and surge protection, industrial enclosure, extra cooling, hard drive vibration isolation, etc. The computer should be Windows 2000 or XP operating system. If the computer is in a dirty environment then we suggest a industrial mouse and keyboard. You will also need to supply the Microsoft Office Professional (with Access) software. We also recommend a printer for printing reports.
If you want to make changes to the software then you will need either the VB.NET or C# standard compiler from Microsoft (costs about $100). You can then make the changes yourself or have us make the changes for you.
Our software comes on CD already compiled and ready to run.
Inventory Master Basic is $2,500 for the basic Inventory Management application, with source code and site license. Note that this price does not include VB.NET or C#, computer, operating system, or Microsoft Office Professional.
Inventory Master is a functioning product
out-of-the-box, for simple systems. You simply configure the
databases and go. Many customers start with this simple system and
expand and customize it as they learn more about their operations.
For larger, more custom applications, we recommend the Professional
or Enterprise systems. These systems
serve as templates that gives you a huge head-start on your
architecture, database, and object, design, development, and testing.

With an internet or phone connection, we can diagnose and fix most problems from our offices. You usually don’t need to wait, or pay travel expenses, for one of our tech support personnel to come out to your site. However, we do offer on-site installation, training, and support for users that are more comfortable with vendors being on-site.
